School just wrapped up and its time for summer!
Anyone have any fun weekend plans? I am dog/house sitting for my brother for the week. I am having a few of my closest friends over for a cookout and lounging by the pool. Also, I am still reading Release by Dylan Allen that arrived in my May Bookworkbox.
As in my newsletter, I discussed that I want to post every Friday a weekend book for you to cuddle up with and read. If anyone has any suggestions for a weekend book for me, please e-mail me. I am always eager to sit and read a good book.
This Flirtation Friday pick: As She Fades by Abbi Glines
Seriously! Abbi Glines ROCKS! This is not the first book I have read from her and trust me, it won’t be the last. I looked forward to reading this book and waited patiently for this book to come out. Totally worth it!
I read this book in one day. I was out at my camp (The Farm) in May and I kept on running back to my trailer to keep on reading. I would eat and run back. Eric wanted to go for a quad ride and I told him yes but it had to be quick. Everyone was sitting by a nice warm fire and I would make an excuse to run back to the trailer. It was cold so we stayed inside most of the time. Perfect book for the perfect cold weekend! Total Nerd Alert!
Now… on to the book! (birds chirping)
I am sitting here trying to figure out the best way to approach this but I am lost for words. More so, I just don’t want to give anything away. But I will say this… I didn’t realize there was a Part 2 in this book. Then I was thrown for a loop ( the loop where your mouth drops and you jump like what the… yes that happened). I had to actually stop reading for a second and actually think where Abbi was taking me. Then I had to wake Eric up and tell him all about Part One and where Part Two was starting. He was actually listening to me go on and on! If you’re into a story with a great twist, I highly recommend this book for you for the weekend. Plus I would love to hear your thoughts on the very end.
READ this book and enjoy the weekend.
Of course Pittsburgh weather is a hit and miss. I am hoping for sun shine and no rain.. but then again, you never know here!
If you read this book already, I posted more books from Abbi Glines (and some of my favorites):
- Boys South of the Mason Dixon
- After the Game (favorite)
- Under the Lights
- Fallen Too Far (oldie but goodie)
The list can go on and on and I promise you won’t be disappointed! What is your favorite book from Abbi Glines?
Any suggestions, please e-mail me and again, enjoy your weekend!
