Unconscious Hearts

Happy long day Monday! I have been so busy preparing for my first Book Club party on Sunday. As well, I am putting together a Junior Book Club. But I am excited to see where both book clubs take me.

I just finished my second book off my summer reading challenge and let me just say that I am worried I will not finish all ten. We shall see!

Let me say that I was super excited to read this book but was not thrilled with how it was written. I feel that Harper had a good story line but was leaving out some major parts. For me, it definitely jumped around too much. If I had to rate this book then I would probably give it 3 out of 5 but not something I would read again.

It is a story about a girl named Paris that goes by Ari. She owns a store called Trend that resells name brand items. Thorn is the guy that wants to sell her purses and hand bags that was left to him from his grandmother (these items cost over millions of dollars). They meet and fall in love instantly. However, will their troubled pasts come back to haunt them? Will Ari’s twin sister come back for revenge? Must read this book to find out. And more importantly, find out why Ari and her twin sister have a bad past together.

Like I said earlier, this story line is good. On the other hand, I would like to have read more in detail about Ari’s past with her ex-fiance and how her sister played a big part in it. Other than that, I still think you would like this book. If anyone has read this book, I would love to hear your thoughts. After all, I have been busy last week and preparing for my Book Club party that I might just not have been into it.

Now it’s off to Pat Catan’s to be creative. Why do I let my imagination run WILD?!? When I probably need sleep 🙂

Have a good week and I will talk to you on Wednesday!
