(This was my wonderful morning! And finished the Book Club book!)

Welcome to my 18th blog!!! (I can’t believe its number 18 already)

Friday is finally here and that means two more days until my Book Club Party! I am so excited to see what my Book Club members thought of the book and how my party will turn out. Stay tuned for Monday and Wednesday blogs.
Flirtation Friday pick is: Wanted by Kelly Elliott
I wanted to take this Flirtation Friday pick back to a book I read a few years back. I was in my early-mid 20’s when I stumbled upon this book. I went through a faze of always looking for a book that ended up being a series and not a stand-alone. This book is a series and I always loved a happy ending especially when the character had a rough life to begin with. Ellie Johnson was a new college student, trying to leave her old life of being verbally abused by her mother. She started to believe that she would never find her one true love or her happy ending until she met Gunner Matthews- star linebacker for the University of Texas. Of courser there is a twist… she is falling in love with her brother’s best friend. There will be many obstacles for them to overcome. Especially when it comes to his two passions- football and his grandfathers ranch. Will there be room for Ellie? Will they conquer her past for a better future? Will they have a happily ever after? Find out when you read Wanted by Kelly Elliott.
Today, I posted a quote on Instagram:
Some Books You Read, Some Books You Enjoy, But Some Books Just Swallow You Up, Heart and Soul- Joann Harris
I’ve read many books in my life. There are some that stick with you and this one definitely did. It is now on my list of books I want to re-read again by the end of this year. And I hope it sticks with you.
I have another busy weekend ahead of me and then one more week till I am lounging on the beach with a book. Again, stay tuned for Monday and Wednesday blogs from the Book Club party. Also, I have spots open for next months book club if you are interested. Contact me at kaitlynmerks@gmail.com
Have a good weekend!
Always,
Kait
