How is everyone’s work week going? School is taking off and so far it has been a great few days! Since starting my blog back in May, I created an account on Instagram (@CuddleMeBooks) where I follow many of my favorite authors and bloggers. I have started to notice that many of them ask random questions everyday on their page or answer questions about all their favorites. I figured I would give it a try and create a blog on all my favorites.
Here it goes…
What is your favorite genre? Romance
What is your favorite book format? This is a hard one for me. Only because I love having the actual paperback book in my hand, however carrying my NOOK or Kindle fits more comfortable in my purse.
Where is your favorite place to read? I love reading on my belly on my bed AND out the Farm on my deck with a cup of coffee.
Can you remember the first book that you really loved? Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. This is what started me to get back into reading. I watched the movie and fell in love with the books.
Favorite author? I have so many! I love Abbi Glines, Colleen Hoover, Kennedy Ryan, and I am starting to get into Kennedy Fox and Samantha Christy.
Do you have some sort of E-Book Reader? Yes. I have my NOOK that I love and has so many books on it. I also have my Kindle that I also love but don’t use as much.
Is there a book that you have read multiple times? Yes. I have read Fifty Shades of Grey E.L. James and Gabriel’s Inferno by Sylvain Reynard.
Are you the person, out of your group of friends who is always reading new books first? Yes. My friends know I am a HUGE reader so I always read first then recommend.
Do your friends come to you for recommendations? Yes. When I started this blog and my book club, many friends have come up to my about book recommendations and it makes me super happy 🙂
What imaginary world from a book would you most want to live in? Yes I am going to say it… Twilight. Having a sexy vampire and hot werewolf fight over you! Count me in. #teamedward
Name a book you read because a work colleague recommended it. The Selection by Kiera Cass (Thank you Annie)
Did you argue over a book with someone? Sure did! I was part of a book club many years ago when I lived in South Carolina. We read this book called Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. At the book club party this lady tried to tell me how she would help the Jews during World War II. I told her that… Yes, we would help now but times were different back then. We wouldn’t of helped. She wanted to keep on arguing about it and I had to keep making a point. Great Book!
Favorite children’s book growing up? I cant remember the author or the exact title but it was called Joey. It was about a baby kangaroo and I loved the story. Thanks Mom for reading it to me almost every night.
Do you buy your own books, borrow books from your friend’s or get them from the library? I buy my own books.
Do you have a stack of books you need to read? How many are there? Yes. I have about three.
What was the first book you remember reading/being read? I don’t really remember the first book but I remember my mom reading my the Joey the Kangaroo book.
What is your favorite book of all time? I have so many!!!!! I would say… Gabriel’s Inferno, Twilight, and Bound Together by Marie Coulson.
What books are on your bedside table at the moment? All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover and Controversial Princess by Jodi Ellen Malpas (currently reading).
If you were given $30 to spend on a book today, what book would you buy? Taming Him by Kennedy Fox, From Here to You by Jamie McGuire, Crew my Tijan, and The Long Shot by Kennedy Ryan.
Do you always have a book on you at all times? Yes. But since heading back to work, my book or NOOK stay at home since I know I don’t have any time to read.
