Sunday Morning Talk

What is it about a Sunday morning and a nice cup of coffee? I love getting up early on Sunday mornings where I can watch some TV, read and write.

So I have been thinking… I think I am going to switch my blogging days up. I will still post on Monday. However, Wednesday will be switched to Thursday and then I will post a blog over the weekend. With my new work schedule and part-time job, I had to switch my days around. Plus, I will not put this blog on the back burner. It means too much to me and I want to make something out of this in the long run. And I will admit… even though I haven’t fully sat down to read this book but her movie inspired me enough- Girl Wash Your Face! So NO, I will not make this my last priority but my first. It’s my passion! Please bear with me as I switch my days around and create something more fun and exciting!

I wanted to share with my readers new book mail that I have received over the last few days. As I posted before, I follow many book lovers on IG and I love it when they post books that they LOVED. I then go and search for that book and read the synopsis. If it is something that I will enjoy then I will order the book. I then go and post the book to my readers. And as promised, I am adventuring out of romance a little. I might even have found a book for my next book club (I can’t wait to share it with you all).

New Books:

  • Block Shot by Kennedy Ryan- I am currently reading this right now and I am loving it. Kennedy never disappoints!
  • Taming Him by Kennedy Fox
  • This is Dangerous by Kennedy Fox
  • From Here To You by Jamie McGuire
  • Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

I hear SOOOO many great things about Kennedy Fox that I had to buy two books. Each books starts off a series. I heard the Bishop Brothers (Taming Him) are great stories so I am super excited to read this first.

Again, I see many book lovers post about From Here to You. I have never read a Jamie McGuire book so I am curious to see if I am going to enjoy her writings.

Then there is Three Dark Crowns. A book that I probably would look past at a book store. It’s not ALL about Romance so why even glare at it. However, book lovers were going on and on about this so I caved. Yes, I love romance. BUT…. I love reading an overall GREAT book regardless of the genre.

Synopsis for Three Dark Crowns:

Fans of acclaimed author Kendare Blake’s Anna Dressed in Blood will devour Three Dark Crowns, a dark and inventive fantasy about three sisters who must fight to the death to become queen. And don’t miss the highly anticipated sequel, One Dark Throne!

In every generation on the island of Fennbirn, a set of triplets is born: three queens, all equal heirs to the crown and each possessor of a coveted magic. Mirabella is a fierce elemental, able to spark hungry flames or vicious storms at the snap of her fingers. Katharine is a poisoner, one who can ingest the deadliest poisons without so much as a stomachache. Arsinoe, a naturalist, is said to have the ability to bloom the reddest rose and control the fiercest of lions.

But becoming the Queen Crowned isn’t solely a matter of royal birth. Each sister has to fight for it. And it’s not just a game of win or lose…it’s life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins. The last queen standing gets the crown.

Be sure to catch the stunning sequel to this New York Times bestseller, One Dark Throne.

So as you can see… I have many books that I need to read. I am hoping to finish Block Shot by tonight if not by tomorrow. Any suggestions on what I should read next? Help me pick!!!

Have a great Sunday and GO STEELERS!
