Books! I Need More Books!

Happy Sunday!

I definitely went over board on books recently. However, most of them were free. I am now up to about 15 books that I need to read by the end of the year. In my next blog post, I will create a list of ALL of them and add in a few more. Hopefully, I will get to all of them.

I just finished reading This is Dangerous by Kennedy Fox and OMG!!! I just promised Eric that I will not buy any books until after the holidays and now I have to read This is Beautiful– the second book in the series. I need to know what happens to Kayla and Logan! Plus I have so many questions going through my mind…what, why, how?

That comes to my next part of my blog. What shall I read next?

I am in between two books:

The Wrong Game by Kandi Steiner and Stealing Sawyer by Samantha Christy

I am stuck in between the two. I know Samantha Christy will not disappoint me because I love all of her books. She is an amazing author. I have not read anything by Kandi Steiner however, this book just came out and I have heard so many wonderful things about the two characters.

Synopsis for The Wrong Game

Two season tickets.
One genius idea.
Zero interest in a relationship.

The plan is simple: a brand new, hot, preferably funny, definitely single male will fill one of those seats for every Bears game at Soldier Field. And I’ll fill the other.

I can’t think of a better way to use the season passes I’d bought for my ex-husband. I am a woman of plans, and this one’s foolproof.

Until Zach Bowen offers to be my practice round.

He’s infuriating. Presumptuous and overbearing. And absolutely, undeniably gorgeous. Any woman with a heartbeat would be attracted to him, and mine picks up speed every time he speaks.

But as I said, I’m a woman of plans — and I’m not backing down on this one.

One night. One game. And then, his time’s up.

He can try to change the rules, but here’s the truth: he can’t win if he’s playing the wrong game.

Synopsis for Stealing Sawyer

I hired her to be my girlfriend.
To fix my reputation.
To save my career.

It’s not that I don’t want a girlfriend. I do. I want it all. Wife, kids, side-by-side burial plots.
The problem is – I can’t have any of it.
So I’ve made myself untouchable. The quintessential bachelor of baseball.
Because it’s not worth the risk. Not even for someone I love.
Especially not for someone I love.

We made the arrangements.
We agreed to a contract.
It’s iron clad.
No sex. No love. No future.

What could possibly go wrong?

Samantha Christy wrote Catching Caden and I absolutely fell in love with the book. Also, my last book club pick was Be My Reason. Once I start with her books, I can never put them down.

Now… which one should I read next?

Before I go, I wanted to share with you two of my book boxes that I have received this month. First is my BookWormBox that came with a rose petal made out of book paper, a stress ball, and a signed copy of a book. Remember, this book box goes towards all different types of charities each month.

My second book box that I received was my first book box from My Guilty Pleasure Box and I fell immediately in love with it. This box was a fall theme. It came with a scarf, a necklace, a candle, a tea packet, and a book. Oh and Shayla Black is a great author. I can’t wait to dive into this book.

I love receiving these book boxes each month.

Well my readers, it is time for relaxing and Vampire Diaries!

  1. This is hard. I say read them both but read The Wrong Game first! Let me know how it is.

    1. That’s the one I started last night.
