Happy Thanksgiving! I have so many things that I am thankful for this year.
I am thankful for:
- My wonderful fiance Eric. He is an amazing, loving man!
- My awesome and fun family!
- My crazy friends who support me and this blog!
- This BLOG! I love that I can connect with so many other book lovers out there.
- All the wonderful authors that I connected with this year.
- My BOOKS! (Now I need more bookshelves)
- Hallmark Christmas Movies because I love Christmas!
- Vampire Diaries and Damon Salvatore 🙂
What are you thankful for?
Thanksgiving yesterday was a big hit! For one, Thanksgiving with my future in-laws is always a great time. They welcome me with open arms and that makes me happy!
Meet my awesome future-in-laws!
So much fun yesterday! After Thanksgiving dinner, Eric and I met up with my best friend Toni to do some Christmas shopping. We have been doing this for the past five years or so and we enjoy it every time. We go to Target (for DVDs) and for me to shop for all my nieces and nephews. We get Starbucks (Chestnut Praline is AMAZING!!) and walk around slowly. We never need big ticket items so we take our time and enjoy it. Walmart was next and it was NUTS!! There were too many people and all I bought was food coloring and a video game for my oldest nephew Dominic. Not sure if Walmart was worth it for my sanity. This year, Eric wanted to go to Tanger Outlets. It took us 15 minutes to find a parking spot because there weren’t any left. I had to ask people if they were leaving. Oh, and it was cold!!!! However, we did get some pretty good deals and I got a new COACH purse so I am happy (but cold) gal! We will probably go back out today to get some more things but almost everyone is bought for so… time to wrap 🙂
The BOOKWORMBOX is having a 50% off sale today (Thru Monday) on all BOOKS! I just bought four for a really good price. I will share those at Christmas time.
I finished up Tattered by Devney Perry a few days ago and started on Stolen Words by India Caedmon. This is an ARC from the author and I am so happy she is letting me read this book. The way she writes puts me right in the book and makes me feel like I am sea sick (have to read the book to understand). I will keep you posted on this book and when the release date is. But look out for India Caedmon she is an amazing author!!
Alright friends… that is all I have for you today. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and shops till you drop!!
