Books and Shopping

Hey Friends!

Happy Saturday! This week has been crazy with work Christmas parties and fundraisers that I haven’t been able to get on here and write. It totally bums me out but I am hoping to find a routine here soon.
If you haven’t looked into Stolen Words by India Caedmon, please do so! She has a fun website of her book and upcoming books. And her new book comes out December 11th! So exciting!! This book is a 5 out 5 stars so make sure you check it out!
I am currently reading Crave by Adriana Locke. This book is definitely a fun and easy read! Plus the characters are funny! If you are looking for an amazing second chance romance this is the  book for you!

Synopsis:
Hadley Jacobs is over Machlan Gibson.

Sure, she’ll always be a little weak to the dimple in his right cheek and the way his five o’clock shadow makes him ruggedly handsome. But that’s not enough to cover every other thing about him because they all drive her nuts. Like how he won’t admit he’s wrong even when he knows it and how he drives his stupid car a million miles an hour on wet asphalt. As she rolls back into town and takes a seat at Crave, she won’t take the bait. She’s over him. Mostly.

Machlan isn’t over her.

It’s not because he hasn’t tried. He reminds himself over and over that she’s not the girl for him. After all, she drives him insane with her sassy attitude and the way she calls him out on everything. She beats him at poker, even though she doesn’t know the difference between a straight and a flush, and when she looks at him with her bright, blue eyes, it’s unnerving. When she climbs onto that bar stool and orders a drink, he puts it in front of her and ignores the sparkle in her eyes. He’s not over her, but she won’t know that.

But she does know that. And he knows she’s not as over him as she’s pretending to be. When life forces their hand this time, there’s more on the line than a pile of poker chips. It’s their forever.

Last blog, I created a list of recommendations for that special someone or for yourself. I told you where I usually shop for books BUT I found another amazing website that is cheaper.
So every day I check my Instagram on the new book releases, what everyone’s current read, and where I can buy books. This one girl was discussing all these books that she ordered. I checked out the website and instantly fell in love. And I ended up buying 12 books for under 50.00. This website is bookoutlet.com. There are ALL kinds of different genres of books to search for. Most of the prices are under $5.00. If you spend $35.00 then you get free shipping. I didn’t even realize how many books I put into my cart because I just kept on clicking. If you are on a budget for books then check out this website.
Remember I promised Eric that I wouldn’t purchase any books until Christmas. I have been keeping my word until I found this website. Thank goodness he was right next to me and was also intrigued the prices of these books. I won that battle…. this time!
As I am writing this blog, I just realized that I have not updated my December Newsletter or my Book Club. I will complete it this weekend after my shopping trip with my best friend “S”.
Before I go, I have two questions.
Do you have any book recommendations for me?
Are you going to erase your 2018 TBR list and start a new one for 2019?
Give me your thoughts!!
Always,
Kait
