There is nothing better than being off on a Monday when it’s freezing outside. Also, there is nothing better staying under covers and writing this blog. And… there is nothing better than Bacon! Breakfast and Blogging.. my two favorite B’s.
I just finished up a book by a new author that is new to me- Shaft by Krista Gold. This book is a short, easy, fun read. If you enjoy being stuck in an elevator with a hot, sexy man then this book is for you. As I read long novels, this was an enjoyable read to help break up those long reads. If you are interested in this short story, check out Shaft by Krista Gold.
This cover shows exactly what is going to happen in that elevator.
I am currently reading Falling for the Bad Boy by Kennedy Fox. I am new to her with only reading two of her many books. I picked up Falling for the Bad Boy because it was a free on Kindle (Still is FREE!). Kennedy Fox always creates amusing books so I am hoping to have this book finished by tonight. Plus, its based in Charleston and that is one of my favorite places to visit.
Never trust a man who answers the door wearing nothing more than a pair of low-cut jeans and a panty-melting smirk.
That should’ve been my first sign.
I write about guys like him for a living — sexy and charming, yet reluctant to get into a serious relationship. His body screams sex appeal, but his condescending personality makes him a classic f*ckboy.
And I want nothing to do with that.
Writing romance novels comes with its perks — traveling, meeting new people, creating characters from the voices in my head — but Ethan Rochester enters my life and rearranges my preconceived notions about writing what inspires you.
Meeting him was fate, but falling for him was inevitable.
And forgetting him will be impossible.
This book is part of the Bedtime Series and it is a Standalone. The newest book from this series Falling for the Cowboy will be released January 21st.
Our last month pick was Cruel Prince from Holly Black. This book is so out of my comfort zone so I am super nervous to hear everyone else’s thoughts on the book. (Next Sunday’s Blog)
Book Club picks:
- The Library Book by Susan Orlean
- The Kiss Thief by LJ Shen
- We Shouldn’t by Vi Keeland
- The Conspiracy by Kat Martin
Not sure on which one we will agree on but I am excited to share these with them.
One more thing before I go. I wanted to share with you my upcoming TBR List that I am hoping to finish up before the end of the month/first week in January.
- All of Me by A.l. Jackson
- Wallflower by Krista Gold
- Merciless by Willow Winters
Do you have a TBR list that you want to share?
Have a good workweek everyone and stay warm!
