What a week I had! (I feel like this is every week) Anyways, after I posted my blog on Monday, I went out with my mom. It was so cold here in Pittsburgh that my car wouldn’t start and killed my battery (Not really sure if that is what happened.. but let’s roll with it). I ended up getting a new battery. So even though my week started off crappy, it ended on a good note.
We received our engagement photos and I couldn’t be happier with how stunning they are. First off, I haven’t taken serious photos since senior year high school. Secondly, Eric and I can’t be serious when photos are being taken. All we did was laugh! However, I will say it was more my fault because I kept on telling him that he had boogers in his nose. Check them out below!
We froze our butts off but it was so worth it. These pictures are stunning and I am so happy to marry my best friend in less than six months!
**Before I move on to the book The Conspiracy by Kat Martin, I wanted to see if anyone knows of any Book Signings that they have been to or going to that they give me details on. I am interested in going to a few of the big book signings but of course I am going to have to travel so I need to give myself time to prepare for it. Also, I feel like I always see book signings last minute and then they are sold out. Can anyone out there help me where to find information on ALL book signings? I want to meet all these wonderful authors!
I was very honored to receive from Harlequin Books the book The Conspiracy by Kat Martin. It was a book I couldn’t put down. First, it was a thriller-romance. I have read thriller-romance books before and I realized how much much I missed reading them. It was a non-stop page turner. If you are looking for a different romance read with a little more thrill than read this book! I give this book 5 out of 5 stars because I love a good book that keeps me on my toes and up all night (that’s how you know it is a GREAT book)!
New York Times bestselling author Kat Martin raises the tension and the passion when family ambition turns deadly…
Harper Winston’s brother has disappeared. Pursuing his dream of sailing the Caribbean, Michael hasn’t responded to texts or emails in days. When even the Coast Guard can’t find him, Harper is forced to take desperate measures. Which means going to Chase Garrett, once her brother’s best friend, now the only man she can trust…or so she hopes.
As the successful owner of Maximum Security, Chase has learned to trust his gut. He knows Harper’s father is mixed up in a deadly business, and suspects there’s more to Michael’s disappearance than meets the eye. Getting involved again with the Winstons goes against everything he stands for, yet old loyalties die hard. As the case draws him closer to Harper and deeper into the Winstons’ snarled crime family, he is forced to put everything on the line to keep Harper safe…and both of them alive.
Thank you again to Harlequin Books for giving me the chance to read this book and review it.
Alright my friends. It is time for me to get ready for my busy day. We are going to book our honeymoon and I have Book Club tonight! I’ll write another blog tomorrow on Book Clubs so stay tuned!
Happy Saturday and Stay Warm!
