Flirtation Friday-Igniting Ivy

Happy Happy Saturday!!!

What a week I had! On Sunday, I couldn’t  fall asleep till 3:30AM. I had in-service day on Monday. I should have read ALL day on Wednesday because we had a snow day. For whatever reason… I didn’t! On Thursday, I tried my first kickboxing class and I LOVE it! And last night, Eric took me on a romantic date to the Hyde Holde. Perfect Friday!

It was such a long week that I came home and went right to bed. So this is why Flirtation Friday is coming to you on a Saturday morning.

I am trying something new with Flirtation Friday today. This is a book that I have NOT yet read but it should arrive today.

Samantha Christy has become one of my favorite authors ever since I read Be My Reason last summer. In that story I cried, laughed, and fell in love with her writing. I had to read more so I bought Stealing Sawyer and then Catching Caden in the Perfect Game Series. I still have Benching Brady to read but I am waiting to read that come Spring.

Igniting Ivy just released on February 14th and I finally ordered it this week. I am part of her Facebook group and everyone kept on talking about it and the emotions in the book. Many of them said that they have a Book Hangover because of this book. So I immediately ordered  the book and can’t wait to get my hands on it this weekend. I hope you enjoy it.

Synopsis:

They call me a hero.
I save people. It’s what I do.
It’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted to do.

Then I meet her – the girl with the sad eyes.
She’s lost everything. Twice.
And I know she’s using me to forget her past.

Just when things seem perfect, that past threatens with the unimaginable.

They may call me a hero.
But she’s the one person I can’t save.

Such a short and sweet synopsis. This book better get here today!

Well my friends, I am off to my best friend’s baby shower. We have been best friends since we were three and I can’t believe she is having a baby. I am so happy for her and I know she is going to ROCK as a mother! Can’t wait to shower her today! Love you S!

Have a good weekend!

Always,

Kait
