I was in Ohio this weekend for a wedding so I tried to do as much reading in the car as i could. I knew when I first started reading Igniting Ivy by Samantha Christy that I wouldn’t be disappointed. The first book that I read from her was Be My Reason and I cried like a big ole baby. My Book Club read it and agreed that it was a GREAT Book. I just had to read more. Next in line was Catching Caden which is part of The Perfect Game Series. I just couldn’t stop there. Stealing Sawyer was also amazing. So again, when I started reading Igniting Ivy, I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I am 200 pages in and I cried and I laughed. I had to yell at Eric to stop talking to me because it was getting to the good parts. Then I had to go back and tell him ALL about it! I am so curious as to see how it will end tonight. Stay tuned!
I have read only one book by Devney Perry and that was Tattered in the Lark Cove Series. There are four books total but I just never was able to read them yet. They are on my long TBR list. But I wanted to explore more of Devney Perry and bought The Coppersmith Farm House. AHHH!!!! It was so good and so much fun to read! It had suspense and romance all mixed into one. And I am starting to realize that I am so drawn to romantic suspense novels. So this book was right up my alley. Plus, who wouldn’t want to inherit a beautiful farm house and find love?
Synopsis:
One old farmhouse brought them together. It could also tear them apart.
Gigi has just uprooted her whole world to start a new life. The unexpected gift of a farmhouse in small-town Montana is just what she and her daughter need to escape big-city loneliness. The last thing she needs is attitude from the town’s sheriff, the most perfectly attractive and ruggedly handsome man she’s ever laid eyes on—and a complete jerk.
Jess knows all about women like Gigi. Beautiful. Sexy. Scheming. She’s stolen his sanctuary, the farmhouse that should have been his. But along with a face full of freckles, she’s got a sharp wit and a backbone of steel—something he doesn’t discover until after making a complete fool of himself. If he can earn back her trust and win her heart, he might just find the home he’s always needed.
