The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker

Bring on SPRING BREAK!!

Moving update:

We close in four days. Packing is almost all done just need to do my bedroom. We are doing a big shopping trip this weekend for bulk items at Costco. And our furniture comes in next weekend. My excitement is through the roof.

In the meantime of working and packing, I have been doing some reading. This past weekend, I just finished reading The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker and I loved it. As I told you in the last blog, my friend India Caedmon recommended me to read this. Let me just say this… IT WAS AMAZING!

First off, it is based in Alaska… ALASKA! How cool? Secondly, I cried like a big baby in the end… like I had to catch my breath and wipe my tears.

This is my first novel from K.A. Tucker that I have read (Ten Tiny Breaths is on the way to my house currently). And it was so captivating from the very first page. Even though there is a love story in it.. it was also about building broken relationships. How can you be there for someone that didn’t seem to care about you? How can you fix the broken past? However, Calla who has all these feelings and emotions running through her has to be there for someone who wasn’t there for her. And Wren… has to show her the father that he can truly be. But during this rocky relationship.. there are rocky plane rides with a rugged man named Jonah. Sparks start flying! However,  can their relationship endure that they are two different people from two different worlds?

Like I said before, this story was amazing in so many ways. I want to keep telling you more but I want you to read this.

I am currently reading Checkmate: This is War and Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox. Of course, like all the other Kennedy Fox books that I have read, I can’t put them down.

Synopsis:

*An enemies to lovers romance*

Travis King is the worst kind of asshole.
He taunts me for being a good girl and mocks my high standards.
He’s cruel, crass, and has enough confidence to last two lifetimes.
And I hate him.

It wouldn’t matter so much if he were avoidable.

But considering he’s my older brother’s best friend and roommate, I see him more than I’d ever want to.

His sculpted abs and gorgeous eyes are a waste on such an egotistical man, which makes me hate him even more.

Even though I’ve had a crush on him since I was ten, the feelings weren’t mutual and he’s always made that very clear.

He’s always loved getting under my skin and one night against my better judgment, I let him in my bed.

I’ve succumbed to his manwhore ways, but that doesn’t change a thing.

Because the King is about to get played at his own game—and lose.

Checkmate.

I will try to catch up with you all this weekend! Happy Easter!

Always,

Kait
