Love Story Weekend

A few weeks ago, I recommended an AMAZING book!

Gypsy King by Devney Perry. It is a one day sitting read. I read the whole book traveling for work so believe me, it can be done! Also, you really don’t want to miss this book. It came out October 29th.

This book is a page flipper. There was so much suspense in this that I just wanted to keep on reading to find out what happens. Devney has really out done her self in this book and I can’t wait till the next one.

Synopsis:

The former Tin Gypsy motorcycle club has everyone in Clifton Forge, Montana convinced they’ve locked their clubhouse doors and ripped off their patches. Everyone but Bryce Ryan. There’s more happening at the club’s garage than muscle car restorations and Harley rebuilds. Her instincts are screaming there’s a story—one she’s going to tell.

As the new owner of the small town’s newspaper, Bryce is hungry for more than birth announcements and obituaries. When a woman is brutally killed and all signs point to the Tin Gypsies, Bryce is determined to expose the club and their leader, Kingston “Dash” Slater, as murderers.

Bryce bests Dash match after match, disappointed her rugged and handsome opponent turns out to be an underwhelming adversary. Secrets are exposed. Truths defeat lies. Bryce is poised to win this battle in a landslide.

Then Dash breaks all the rules and tips the scales.

One kiss, and she’s fighting to save more than just her story. She’s fighting to save her heart from the Gypsy King.

Next…

Another page flipper that I just enjoyed reading. This book was filled with so much joy and humor.. I just had to keep on reading.

Delicate Promises by Kelly Elliott

Delicate Promises is the second book in the Southern Bride Series. The first book is Love at First Sight Love . I have read and reviewed Love at First Sight and I loved the whole story. It was cute, romantic, and an overall fun story between two best friends who are afraid to take a chance on love.

Delicate Promises reminds me of the movie, My Best Friend’s Wedding starring Julia Roberts, Dermot Mulroney, and Cameron Diaz. And who doesn’t love a good Julia Roberts film? This is based off just reading the synopsis.

However, I finished this book. Again.. in one day! I was traveling back home and just couldn’t put it down. There were so many moments that I wanted to cry. I know I say that in many of my books that I read but I felt the emotions in this book. It was raw! It was beautifully written and I just couldn’t put it down. This book is cute and spunky! There are many spit fire moments and very hot (fan yourself) moments. Overall.. I loved this book! I hope you enjoy it 🙂

Synopsis:

At eighteen-years-old, I made a promise with my best friend in high school. If neither one of us were married by age thirty-two, we would marry each other. Now Miles Warner is back in town and wants to cash in on that promise we made all those years ago.

The fact that Miles is still unmarried and single baffles me. The young man I remembered from high school has grown into one of the most handsome men I’ve ever laid eyes on. And he refuses to take no for an answer. You see, he needs a bride, and I’m his last resort. Romantic, isn’t it?

Well, no thank you. That is not going to happen.

At least that’s what I keep telling myself. But as the days pass by and Miles settles back into life in our hometown, I find myself falling head over heels in love with him. Again.

What is the lesson I’ve learned, you ask?

Never make a promise you don’t intend to keep.

Well my friends… I have been MIA the past week. Our bathroom was tore apart and now it’s finally finished. Which meant.. we had to stay at my mother’s house for a week. When we returned to our house (On Halloween), everything had to be cleaned from top to bottom. This weekend we finally are getting things accomplished. My apologies!

Have a good rest of your weekend!

Always,

Kait
