A reading that doesn’t have Corona in it! Enjoy :)

Well hello Monday!

It is a bright Monday morning here in Pittsburgh, and I am tired! But today, I wanted to do something a little different with this blog.

It has been a while since I created a blog that asks you a question(s). Lately, it has been about upcoming books, what I am reading, and baby news. So today, I want to ask you a simple question.

Who is your go to author and why? OR
Who are your favorite authors and why?
My go to author is always Samantha Christy. However, I read about 80% of her books (still working on her back list). She has a new book coming out in a few weeks so I am looking forward to reading it.
I always go to her because her books aren’t always the same ol’ sappy love tale. It has detail and information that she clearly did her research on. And there is always so much more to each of her story. It just takes you away until you realize that you finished the book in one sitting.
I personally never met her (but one day I will at a book signing) however, I am in her Facebook group and she is amazing. She just doesn’t just promote her books to us but she gets to know us on a more personal level. She truly cares about her readers.
Here is the last two books in this series that I need to finish. Then I would have read 12 out of her 15 books. Be My Reason is still my favorite book from her collection!

My favorite authors are: Devney Perry, Kennedy Fox, Colleen Hoover, Kandi Steiner, Kristen Proby, Kennedy Ryan, LJ Shen, Abbi Glines, Catherine Cowles, and A.L. Jackson.
These authors are also my go to authors when I need a good book to read or need to get out of a reading slump. Again, many of these authors aren’t the typical love stories. There is always a suspense, thriller, or more in depth story to each of them that keeps you wanting more. Those are the type of books that I enjoy reading.
Below is a list of each author with my favorite book.
Devney Perry: The Coppersmith Farmhouse
Kennedy Fox: Always Mine and Always Yours
Colleen Hoover: It Ends with Us
Kandi Steiner: The Wrong Game
Kristen Proby: Shadows
Kennedy Ryan: Long Shot
LJ Shen: The Kiss Thief
Abbi Glines: Fallen Too Far
Catherine Cowles: Beautifully Broken Pieces
Corinne Michaels: Consolation

Synopsis:
Liam wasn’t supposed to be my happily ever after.
He wasn’t even on my radar.
He was my husband’s best friend—forbidden.

But my husband is dead and I’m alone. I ache for him and I reach for Liam.

One night with Liam changed everything. Now I have to decide if I truly love him or if he’s just the consolation prize.

Now remember, these are my favorite authors and their books BUT this isn’t my all time favorite books. I just didn’t want to confuse you.
I would love to hear from you! Tell me your go to author or authors and why?
Remember.. enjoy this day, and the day after tomorrow, and the day after that and so on!
Have a good Monday!
Always,
Kait
