Happy Wednesday and Happy 35 Weeks Pregnant!
How is everyone holding up during this quarantine? I am quite over it. I want to go shopping, whether its to Target or just the grocery store. Eric has been doing all the shopping for us.
I can’t believe I am now 35 weeks pregnant. I don’t know where time went because I feel like it came very quickly and in one month our baby will be here! Anyone else excited to find out if it is a boy or a girl? Everyone asks what I think it is and I honestly have no idea. Some days I feel boy and other days I feel girl. But I always tell them this…
- I always wanted a BOY first because I was blessed with two protective brothers that tortured me and loved me. It was always fun having them around and for me to annoy them.
- I would love to have a GIRL so Eric can have that father-daughter relationship that I had with my father and miss dearly. I wish my dad was here for this experience.
- So as you can see.. either way I am happy with either a BOY or a GIRL!
As promised from the start of this pregnancy, I will share photos of the Nursery. I love everything about this room. To the beautiful crib, to the Woodland Animal pictures above, to the fox lamp, to the simple changing table, we couldn’t be more happy with how it all turned out.
However, before I show these pictures I want to make it very CLEAR! None of this could have been possible with the most LOVING family and friends that we have. Since the end of March when we had to cancel the baby shower, Eric and I have been receiving gifts on our door step almost every day. It has been so exciting to see what we would get and the loving words that came with the gift. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We will never ever forget the family and friends that made our first baby feel so blessed during the Covid-19.
Such amazing and thoughtful gifts from my sister and sister-n-law!
A few of our Woodland Theme animals. I am so happy we went with theme because I think they are just the cutest!
Blessed for family and friends who have purchased us so many wonderful things!
Baby’s first library
As far as I am feeling.. I feel good so far! I am exhausted because I am not sleeping. But also excited to meet this baby that use to kick me non-stop to now wiggles and rolls all day! Now to prepare for the hospital bag! Any items that is a MUST have for the hospital bag?
Thank you for joining us from bridal shower, to wedding, to now welcoming our first baby! Stay tuned for our final few weeks!
Nothing new here but I have been on a Samantha Christy kick again. I finished the final book in the Mitchell Sisters series- Black Roses which was my favorite one out of the three.
HER SECRETS ARE UGLY.
They’ve kept her from coming home.
Now she’s risking everything to return.
She thought it would be a quick trip. Show up. Say the right words. Then she’d be gone.
She never counted on meeting him.
The football star.
The single dad.
He knew she was shattered by some event she kept hidden under lock and key.
The clues on her body failed to reveal her secrets – unlike scars on his body that clearly publicized his.
The clock was ticking, giving him only a short time to uncover the true meaning of the flower branded into her flesh.
Because if she got back on that plane, he knew it would be forever.
Since finishing that book, I was blessed to receive an ARC from Samantha Christy for her new book that is releasing April 30th. I can’t put this book down and I am loving the whole Rock-Star atmosphere.
Reckless Obsession by Samantha Christy
Music is my life.
It’s kept me breathing.
Even when I couldn’t eat, sleep, or sing, I could still write songs.
It’s the only thing that has saved me from going crazy.
Until the day Reckless Alibi decides to hire a girl.
Suddenly, everything from my past comes rushing back to me.
And now she’s there. For every rehearsal. Every show. Every moment. Every song.
We were supposed to be a boy band.
Now everything has changed.
I’m still breathing … but I’m sure as hell no longer sane.
Main reason I love Samantha Christy books is because she writes deep and then throws some kind of crazy wrench in the mix when you at least expected.
I also downloaded a book called Darklight by Bella Forest so stay tuned for that review as well.
Stay safe everyone!
Keep on reading!
